Sandsend Holiday Cottages offer superb accommodation in some of the best luxury cottages in Sandsend. We offer four very special holiday houses, each unique with its own character and charm, and all equipped to the highest standard.
The quaint village of Sandsend is situated three miles north of Whitby, North Yorkshire. Nestling under Lythe Bank and Mulgrave Woods Sandsend not only boasts a wonderful sandy beach with fossil-rich rock pools, stripey windbreaks and a popular beach walk to Whitby, but also a pretty valley where you will find ducks in the beck, and goats tethered on the grass. The village has several teashops, excellent restaurants, two pubs and a good shop. There is a regular bus service to Whitby and to Runswick Bay to the North.
Howdale, situated in the heart of the picturesque old valley, is a charming stone built cottage with three bedrooms, and two bathrooms, sleeping between two and six people.
Craigmore offers stunning views along the beach and sea to Whitby Abbey. With a degree of privacy, it is approached via a private road with its own parking. This spacious luxury holiday home with three bedrooms, two bathrooms & shower room sleeps two to seven people.
Melrose House, a beautiful Edwardian villa, occupies a perfect seafront location with uninterrupted views across the bay to Whitby Abbey and Sandsend Ness. The accommodation is laid out on three floors rendering this properties ideal for families. Melrose sleeps between six and twelve people.
The Porthole. This luxury romantic B&B sleeps two people in a 6 foot bed. There is an ensuite bath and shower room and a small kitchenette. Breakfast will be left in your room to have at your leisure either looking out to sea through the picture french window or on your own private terrace.
